It should be noted that we are not advocating a return to waterfall on this site! What we are trying to encourage teams to embrace is evolutionary design, where design forms a small part of the process undertaken to complete a task by an agile team.
If you are concerned that the time taken to undertake a formal design is too great, then don't be. The time taken to carry out a design is won back by a reduction in the time to code the solution - especially if you use our custom design tool!
